We started RentX to fix the parts of scooter rental that usually go wrong: vague pricing, neglected bikes, and paperwork nobody explains.
Our story
RentX began with a simple frustration: renting a scooter in Kandy shouldn't mean guessing at the price, hoping the bike was serviced recently, or losing your deposit to a dispute nobody can resolve.
So we built our process around three things — a maintained fleet, a transparent rental agreement signed by both sides, and a refundable deposit that's actually refunded. Tourists, students, and hikers come back to us because the experience is predictable, not because we're the cheapest.
What's next
